2nd Annual Family Fun Day Event Details!

We are thrilled to announce all the details of our next event; our 2nd Annual Family Fun Day event! Check out all the details below and buy your tickets at the bottom of the post!

Who: All Twin Cities families!

What: A morning of fun for all families. Tickets are all inclusive and include all activities, lunch and dessert, a goody bag for each child ticket, and access to all giveaways as part of our raffle.

When: Saturday, August 5 from 10am-1pm

Where: Minnehaha Academy, Lower Campus. 4200 W River Pkwy, Minneapolis, MN 55406

Ticket Price: 

  • Adults and children: $12 per ticket
  • 18 months and under: Free (please note, this ticket does not include lunch and a goody bag. If you would like your child to have these things, please purchase them a child ticket.)

All tickets include the following:

  • Access to the event and all activities
  • Food, drinks and dessert for lunch
  • A goody bag loaded with goodies (1 per child ticket purchased)
  • 1 raffle ticket to use on a giveaway of your choice

*Please Note: This event is geared towards children 2-8 years old, however we will have a few activities that little ones may enjoy. If bringing a stroller, please make sure that it is able to be used easily on grass. 

*This event will happen rain or shine. The event is set to take place outdoors at Minnehaha Academy. If there is rain the day of the event, the event will be moved indoors at Minnehaha Academy.

Activity Sponsors

A huge thank you to each of our activity sponsors! Inflatables, face painting, obstacle courses, gymnastics fun, games and prizes, princesses and superheroes, family photo booths, hands on crafts and activities, and more; there will be something for kids of all ages at this event!

Kids Fun Run

This year we will also be adding a Kids Fun Run, thanks to our sponsors Fairview Health Services! We will have a 1/4 mile run for kids under 5 and a 1/2 mile run for ages 5+. Full details will be emailed to all attendees and available in the event program.

Performance Tent

Also new this year is a Performance Tent with fun performances and interactive activities for your kiddos! Stop by for music fun with Miss Zippy and Music Together Twin Cities West, and yoga with Kids Yoga MN. Times and schedules will be in the program at the event.

Lunch Sponsors

Lunch will be served from 11:00-12:00 for all ticketed attendees (included in ticket price). We are thrilled to have some fabulous businesses providing lunch and dessert! Currently, Piada Italian Street Food and Jet’s Pizza will serve some of their delicious food for lunch. For dessert, Amy’s Cupcake Shoppe will provide cupcakes and macarons, and Nothing Bundt Cake Minnetonka and Nothing Bundt Cake Eagan will provide bundtini cakes!

Giveaway and Goody Bag Sponsors

Who doesn’t love to win amazing prizes? We have an awesome lineup of giveaways thanks to our fabulous giveaway sponsors whose logos are below. Each ticket comes with one raffle ticket for you to use on a giveaway of your choice.

Want to increase your chance to win? We are excited to partner with Kids in Need Foundation to give you an opportunity to give back. Kids in Need Foundation is a  non-profit helping to provide school supplies to children who need them, setting them up for a successful school year! When parents can barely afford rent and groceries each month, school supplies just can’t be a priority. Help us level the playing field and ensure that all kids have what they need to succeed in the classroom.

For each donation item from the list below that you bring, you will receive ONE raffle ticket (up to 5 items). The more you donate, the better your chances of winning – it’s that simple! We hope you will participate in this important initiative of giving back to children in need for a chance to win one of these prizes.

Please note, no tickets will be available at the door. ALL tickets must be purchased beforehand and we are only selling a limited number and expect them to go fast. Due to the nature and planning of this event, we cannot accommodate cancellations or refunds. By purchasing a ticket you are permitting Twin Cities Moms Blog to take photos of you at the event for promotional use.
