New Horizon Academy Camp Discovery

About: Welcome to Camp Discovery! Kindergarten – 4th Grade The summer program at New Horizon Academy, Camp Discovery, is your child’s passport to a summer of fun, friends, and field trips. Summer at New Horizon Academy provides your child a safe environment to learn, play, and explore during those otherwise long summer days. Camp Discovery programs are led by teachers trained in safety, early education, compassion, and fun. Children are able to construct their own knowledge through themed fun learning experiences that include fieldtrips, community projects, sports and recreation, cooking and baking, arts and crafts, drama, gardening, guest speakers, science experiments, water play and much, much, more!

Concordia Language Villages

About: Concordia Language Villages, a program of Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., offers language immersion summer camps in 15 languages: Arabic, Chinese, Danish, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Russia, Spanish and Swedish.

Each summer, more than 4,000 young people ages 7-18 immerse themselves in language and culture at our beautiful lakeside locations in the Northwoods of Minnesota, including seven sites featuring culturally authentic architecture. No previous language experience is necessary; all levels of language learners are welcome. Charter transportation is available from the Twin Cities.

In addition to youth residential camps, Concordia Language Villages also offers family camps in several languages. Day camps are also available for children ages 6+ at our main sites near Bemidji, Minn., and for children of various ages throughout the Twin Cities.

Girls and young women from around the country and the world come to WeHaKee every summer to create lifelong friendships and have great fun!

Golden Ridge Stables Horse Camp

About: Our established lesson program offers quality hunt seat and western lessons for youth and ladies of all ages and abilities on well-mannered school horses. Our students discover how to work with each horse on the ground as well as on its back. Riding is a life skill that teaches self-discipline, communication, and teamwork.
Golden Ridge Horse Camp provides each child individual attention and structured riding lessons, all while learning fascinating facts about their horses. Campers discover how to safely work with his/her horse on the ground as well as on its back in a “hands and seat on” environment. Our fun activities include games and creative crafts. Each rider goes home with a treasured keepsake and lasting memories!
